The Wines!!

Closerie Saint Antoine Viognier, Champ du Carra $10.99
A recent edition that has quickly become a customer favorite! Nicely priced and easy to drink with the captivating aroma of the varietal without the overwhelming weight of some offerings.
Try it with lightly sauteed appetizers!

Closerie Saint Antoine Rose', Champ du Carra $9.99
New to the shelves! This is a light, but expressive Rose' that will make summer sipping very refreshing. Chill to your heart's delight! You could even make some FRose' (ask Kate for the recipe)

Clua "Illusion", Celler Xavier $24.99
The wine has a bright yellow color with green highlights. The aroma of the Il·lusió is reminiscent of Mediterranean herbs (lavender and thyme), ripe white fruits (pear and white peach) with a touch of citrics. In the mouth it is full bodied and characteristically Mediterranean, the ageing on the lees giving the wine additional volume. The clay soils give a hint of minerality together with the acidity which should give the wine the potential to age and further develop in the bottle for some months to years. This wine captivates through its delicate fruits, harmony and distinctive character.

Los Frailes Monastrell/Garnacha, Organic $14.99
An expressive nose of plum and fruit, with a slight background of mint that gives freshness.
The attack on the palate is soft, almost sweet.
The wine caresses the palate and then come the woody and smoky notes of barrel aging.

Critical Acclaim RP90
The Wine Advocate - "The 2013 Los Frailes Monastrell-Garnacha (Tintorera), aka Alicante Bouschet, is a 70/30 blend fermented separately in stainless steel vats and matured for four months in used barriques and a further ten months in cement vats. The nose shows good intensity and certain elegance a mixture of red berries, some fennel, Mediterranean herbs and spices. The palate is medium-bodied, with very fine tannins, clean, delineated flavors and good freshness. A very good Mediterranean blend at a great price."

Finca Valldosera Tinto $16.99
Mix of Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The Syrah provides color intensity, balsamic hints and a very pleasant tannin to the palate. The Merlot provides freshness and aroma of red fruits. Lastly, the Cabernet Sauvignon gives structure and complexity to this wine.
