Wild Wolf 151 Ale with Blackberries (Virginia) 6 pack $13.99
Wild Wolf Brewing Company was one of the Virginia breweries honored Monday during the 2017 Virginia Craft Beer Cup Awards in Richmond Monday. Wild Wolf received a distinguished Bronze Medal Award – Fruit Beer, for its Area 151 beer.  Wild Wolf Brewing Company released Area 151, a Belgian Style Ale Brewed with Blackberries in March of 2017. Area 151 is named for our location on Highway 151. This Belgian Style Ale has blackberries added during fermentation, giving the beer a beautiful color. We filter area 151 prior to packaging to add a crispness and to help bring the fruit forward. At Wild Wolf, we think beer first, fruit second!

Brewmaster Danny Wolf “I am particularly proud of this beer. We will only use real fruit in our beers, so it was challenging to find a number of great choices and then narrow it down to the brand of blackberries we are using. The color, aroma and flavor are just perfect.”
