Each Friday we try to start your weekend off with a sampling of fine wines and beers that will allow you to relax into your "days off" with a positive note. Always a gathering of friends and neighbors and good conversation.

Chardonnay Bevion 2017, Boeri $15.99
Color - hay yellow with golden hue
Aroma - its attractive and elegant aromas hint at sweet lemon
Flavors - fresh and medium-bodied, exhibits ripe fruit, fine purity, and an elegant, crisp, savory finish;
it possesses a surprising character.

Zinfandel Lodi 2014, Starry Nights $16.99
2014 Lodi Zinfandel is made using traditional winemaking methods and is representative of the fine Zinfandels that have been grown in this appellation for over 100 years.
This wine is well structured with fresh flavors of blackberries and cherries with hints of pepper, spice and eucalyptus.  Our Lodi Zinfandel can be paired with many dishes, but is especially good with pasta, steak, lamb, burgers, pizza, stinky cheese and chocolate flavored breakfast cereal.

Petit Sirah North Coast 2013, Stary Nights $23.99
Our 2013 North Coast Petite Sirah has deep, rich fruit driven flavors of ripe plums and black cherries with hints of anise and white pepper. This Petite Sirah is ready to drink now, but will age for many years to come. It pairs well with beef, lamb, spicy foods and hearty pasta.
Production of this wine was very limited with only 200 cases bottled.

Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Arbos 2012, Famiglia Castellani $21.9
Ruby red colour tending to garnet with ageing. 
Characteristic bouquet, delicate with notes of violets and typical aromas of tobacco and leather.
Great tannins on the palate, dry and harmonious.
FOOD PAIRINGS - Ideal with all Mediterranean dishes, roast, game meat and spicy cheese.

Brunello di Montalcino Solaria 2012, Patrizia Cencioni $54.99
Deep ruby red, limpid. Clean and tenuous with hints of the wood where it matured. Good tannins and full bodied, soft and powerful.14.5%
Color: Intense ruby red with garnet reflections, limpid.
Nose: Enveloping with intense fruit, well blended with the oak in which it was aged
Taste: Elegant and distinctive, structured and firm with ultra-fine tannins and a juicy, delicious and very persistent finish. A full-bodied, opulent wine that shows complexity and finesse.
