The Wines!!

Treveri Blanc de Noir NV $20.99
Made from 100% Pinot Noir, the palate is laden with strawberries and a hint of brioche, balanced with bright acidity. Beautifully lean without being austere, while keeping true to its old-world inspiration.

Barter and Trade Sauvignon Blanc 2016 $15.99
A true collaborative effort, made from Washington-grown grapes vinified in California, this is an all-around crowd-pleaser.  With a bright, citrusy nose and juicy grapefruit on the palate, this wine pairs with everything, from chicken, to fish, to good company.

Fableist Merlot 2016 $22.99
Black tea, northland blueberries and wet concrete meet the nose. The silky texture slides gracefully across the palate leaving behind hints of sweet plums, warm cedar planks, and freshly ground spices.

Fableist Zinfandel 2017 $22.99
Black cherry and cinnamon linger the nose, while the palate is deep and flush, with nuances of black tea, licorice, and sugarplums. An opulent and exquisite winter red.

Fableist Pinot Noir 2017 $24.99
Bold, fresh cranberries and raspberries seem to pop on the palate, brought back to earth by gentle nutmeg, clove and just a hint of mushroom.  The finish is inky and chocolatey, with a touch of cocoa nibs and baking spices.  A classic pairing with duck.

The Beers!!
Commonwealth Papi Chulo  IPA 4 pack $17.99
"I don’t know the exact blend of hops that have gone into this 6.5% ABV IPA, but I can tell you Papi Chulo carries a wonderful blend of tropical fruit flavors of mango, apricot, light melon, grapefruit and more. The brewery, however, hasn’t forgotten about what makes an IPA an IPA — the bitterness. At 54 IBU, the brew brings a solid hop bite to keep all of that fruitiness in check and reminder you this isn’t a fruit juice you’ve got in your glass. Not only is Papi Chulo and excellent IPA with well-rounded flavors, it also served as an excellent introduction to the Virginia brewery. The beer certainly has that modern, tropical lean to it, but the company hasn’t forgotten to bring the bite to the party. Without that hop bitterness the IPA would still be pretty tasty, but not nearly as refreshing or tasty. I may have originally been on a mission to pick up some malt-forward brews, but am glad I found this tasty IPA, as well."

Union Craft Double Duckpin Double IPA 6 pack $16.99
"The appearance was a hazy burnt orange color with a quickly dissipating slim head leaving messy lacing. The smell had a big sweet luscious and sliding fresh grapefruit with a kick of bitter orange peel and fresh lemon scent mixed with a bit of freshly cut grass. Superb! The taste takes that big sweet luscious grapefruit to town and enlivens eloquently and sweetly in a full richly satisfying citrus aftertaste. Sweet sticky finish rounds out the taste. On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation is there but nothing overbearing. It ends up twisting itself around my tongue bitter yet smooth, sharp but pure. Making me want to gulp but leading me on. "

Commonwealth Clockwork Stout 4 pack $24.99

11.1 ABV 4.25 BeerAdvocate
Dark black pour with a reddish hue to it and 1.5" dark tan foamy head that lingers and leaves ample lacing. Chocolate, oranges and coffee on the nose. The orange taste is prevalent with chocolate and coffee fighting through the orange to round the taste out. Slightly bitter finish. There's a nice thickness and smooth carbonation. Overall this is a nice stout, the orange may be a little stronger than I prefer.
