The Vineyards!
Highway 12

RIDE WITH US

Through legendary Sonoma Valley and the famed Carneros District, California Highway 12 is the quintessential Wine Road. Home to dozens of world renowned vineyards and wineries, this region has been the heart of Northern California’s Wine Country since the first plantings in 1825. Recognizing that our winery, and our neighboring wineries, owe much to this corridor, we proudly assumed the name and the responsibility of honoring its historical significance.

Highway 12 is atypical of other wineries in that we makes use of a number of different growing appellations to create our wines. Our wines offer insight into these various growing areas while maintaining a unique style that sets it apart from other wineries. We traverse the iconic appellations of Sonoma, Napa and the foothills of the Sierras to find the perfect grapes, putting our longstanding friendships with growers to perfect use. Our 3 generations of winegrowing family heritage are apparent with every sip.

The Wines!!

Sauvignon Blanc $14.99
“This anytime sipper has always been a staple of the Highway 12 portfolio. The 2017 is youthful and bright with its clean, citrus-zested nose. Round and fruity, yet refined. Mid palate notes of green apple with a slightly lingering tropical fruit finish. Enjoy with minerally raw oysters, steely steamed clams, spicy Asian fare or simply on its own.”

Chardonnay$15.99
The nose presents elderflower blossoms and light citrus with a hint of stone fruit. On the palate is something quite different; crisp asian pear prevails. The fruit and floral notes are balanced by light acidity and a rich toasty vanilla oak warmth to round out the finish.

Pinot Noir $18.99
This vintage of our Sonoma County Pinot over delivers in a major way. Don’t be fooled by the price tag--it’s a gorgeous pinot. Bright strawberry and lingonberry notes combined with the soft balancing act of the earth tones and barely-there tannins create a sensational sipper for the early fall days and nights. Put a rack of lamb with an herb mustard marinade on the ‘que and serve with grilled zucchini with olive oil and sea salt.

Red Blend $24.99
A fruity, leathery nose offers a glimpse into what unfolds on the palate. Hefty, bright notes of ripe plum, currant jelly and a tinge of sweet tobacco fill the senses with the first sip. As this breathes, it morphed into something exceptionally smooth and round, a result of the introduction of soft tannins and lightly burnt toffee oak. The fig jam finish lingers but just long enough to go in for another sip. Enjoy this with a hearty Tikka Masala or Thai Red Coconut Curry. Any spicy creamy tomato sauces are heaven with this wine.

Cabernet Sauvignon $19.99
“The 2016 release showcases when depth, strength and elegance meet. Blended with 8% Cabernet Franc and 5% Merlot, the wine was aged in French oak and showcases cedary overtones supported by the round mid-palate body and tingly tannins on the edge of the finish. Entry exhibits soft earthtones on the nose with hints of cherry, blueberry and a vanilla-oak softness. Medium to full-bodied, the wine reveals wonderful fruit ripeness supported by richness and a slightly chewy core.”

The Beers!!
Uinta "Clear Daze" Juicy IPA, 6 pack $11.99

Haze-free
What you see (through) isn't always what you get in this mirage of juicy IPA. Clear Daze is clearly haze-free, but loaded with massive hop aromatics including pineapple, mango and passionfruit, all leading to a silky-soft mouthfeel and lingering, sweet finish.

Two Roads "Kitchen Sink", 4 pack $16.99
An ale hopped with T-op hop pellets, hop extracts, Lupulin powder, TNT hop blend and even hop hash and distillate, this one's everything but the kitchen sink!

Charm City Wild Flower Mead, 4 pack $12.99

A feather-light, dry, sparkling mead with floral and citrus notes from fermented wildflower honey.
