“Wanted” Gruner Veltliner Cans

Dry and crisp, citrusy wine showing hints of green apple. Great with seafood, salads, white meat, fish and sunshine. Perfect for the beach, the pool, going to a picnic, your deck or backyard. Any time or place, when you need a refreshing glass of wine pop this delicious "Grüner" can and enjoy!!

“Yes, Austria is a white wine country and we are known for Grüner Veltliner. So we decided to put this delicious juice from Paul Direder in a can. This is the same quality Grüner we have become to like so much over the past few years. When you open this can you"ll get a pop and the first sip is a little frizzante due to the total closure of the can. So I suggest you"ll still pour this in a wine glass if possible, wait for just a minute and that natural Co2will blow off. Or drink straight out of the can and you"ll enjoy a frizzante  Grüner at first. Refreshing and crisp with the typical white pepper finish.”

Strauss Chardonnay Gamlitzberg 2016
This Gamlitzberg Chardonnay has an exotic aroma with taste of mango and banana.   The acidity is perfectly integrated and balanced. Vinivication: hand harvest, grape and single berry selection, fermented in temperature controlled large Hungarian   oak barrels
Friendly, pure notes of freshly cut yellow apples have a minty, fresh aspect that enlivens nose and palate. This is fresh but comes with softened, slightly rounded, creamy edges. A very friendly, clean-cut light
-footed but full-fruited Chardonnay showing some lovely midpalate texture and lots of freshness.

                     Mittelbach T- Rose Zweigelt 2018
A beautiful hue of watermelon sets just the right tone for this bright, disarmingly fun rosé. Crisp, dry and ultra-refreshing, this light to medium bodied wine exudes an intoxicating perfume of ripe cherry and crushed strawberry. The wine holds its balance throughout the finish, never once striking a confectionery note. A joy to drink and absolutely appropriate anytime.

Leo Hillinger Pinot Noir Eveline 2017   (organic)
Medium garnet color with a fruity nose of strawberries underlined by earthy and spicy notes, and reminiscent of fine wood. A supple tannin structure and gamey texture complements the palate for real pleasure. A long finish with a nice play of all components leaving the wish to have a second sip immediately. This wine is ideally suited to complement lots of different food.
100% destemmed, 20% saignée, temperature controlled spontaneous fermentation with natural yeasts for 4 – 5 weeks; 50% stainless steel, 25% second fill barrique barrels and 25% 3.000 liter oak vat, for 9 months

Steindorfer Apetlon Rouge 2015
40% Blaufrankisch, 30% ST. Laurent and 30% Zweigelt.

The bouquet is a lovely mix of red berry fruit and black pepper spice. The wine has a good acidity and elegance on the palate. A very nice medium-bodied red for every day drinking.

91 Points  The Wine Enthusiast
The nose brims with fruit. Fleshy, almost overripe red cherry sets the tone on the nose that carries through to the palate. The body is juicy but has some grip while the cherry fruit attains crunch, a touch of white pepper spice and more freshness than the nose would suggest. The finish is vivid .

The Beers!!

 Schofferhofer Grapefruit Hefeweizen
The story of Schöfferhofer starts with Peter Schöffer (1425-1503), a sophisticated maverick of his time with a distinctive taste and passion forbeer. As part of the printing revolution of his time, Schöffer set a new technological standard. In the same spirit, Schöfferhofer Weizen became the new benchmark in German wheat beer brewing by being the first wheat beer brewed outside of Bavaria.

It is this same revolutionary thinking that led to the launch of Schöfferhofer Grapefruit, the world’s first Hefeweizen grapefruit beer, in 2007. With its unique character and flavor, Schöfferhofer Grapefruit landed in the US, in 2012, at Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival at Walt Disney World and was wildly successful. From there, Schöfferhofer Grapefruit spread its reach across the country, making the US the 2nd largest market for the product.
Schofferhofer Grapefruit Hefeweizen is a mixture of light wheat beer and the tangy fruity flavor of sun ripened grapefruit. It’s a 50/50 blend of Schöfferhofer Hefeweizen beer and natural carbonated grapefruit flavor for a zesty and fizzy taste experience.
