The Wines!!
Domaine Barreau "Baro" Côtes du Tarn White Wine (2018)
Located 2 miles from Gaillac in Boissel over 34 hectares, Barreau is known for their modern yet traditionally rooted approach to winemaking.
Their Baro white blend is 50% Mauzac, 50% Sauvignon Blanc, and strikes the palate as an autumnal incarnation of the much beloved summer Sauv Blanc.
Round grapefruit curd meets the palate, edged with melon, honeysuckle, and honeycomb.
A lovely addition to the Thanksgiving table.

Domaine de Majas, Côtes Catalanes Blanc (2018)
This is a novel blend from the south of France: Malvasia Blanc, Macabeu, and Rolle (otherwise known as Vermentino in Italy).
The resulting wine is spunky, zippy, and fresh, with plenty of acidity and bright citrus.
Pairs well with seafood, grilled scallops, and marinated tuna.

Domaine Barreau, Baro Côtes du Tarn Red Wine (2018)
A very traditional blend of Syrah and Carignan from the Languedoc region of France, Baro meets the nose with lifted notes of cranberry, cherry, strawberry, and raspberry.
The palate follows with gentle pink peppercorn, savory herbs, and hints of bittersweet chocolate.

Domaine de Majas, Vin de Pays des Côtes Catalanes Rouge (2018)
Majas red is a blend of Carignan and Grenche from the Catalan hills of Southern France.
The resulting wine leads with peppercorns, allspice, tarragon, thyme, and sage on the nose.
The palate is intriguing, with elements of bing cherries, strawberries, and lavender.
A perfect pairing with venison or roasted lamb.

Domaine du Serre des Vignes, Grignan-les-Adhémar Secret de Syrah (2016)
A classic old world Syrah from the tiny appellation of Grignan le Adhemar, this is a Syrah for the cooler months.
Meaty, chewy, and rich with dense tobacco, smoke, and leather on the palate, this is a wine destined for beef roasts and slow-simmered braised short ribs.

The Beers!!

Jackie O's See Foam IPA, 6 pack $16.99
Dripping with all the juicy goodness that Citra, Comet and Simcoe hops can muster, Jackie O's brewers slather these powerful cones on a New England styled IPA.
Turbid in its haze, the goldenrod See Foam releases a tall column of eggshell froth with impressive lacing.

Commonwealth Papi Chulo IPA, 4 pack $19.99
Big Papi is a double IPA that clocks in at 8.0% ABV.
It also is the big brother to another delicious IPA Commonwealth makes called Papi Chulo.
Beauty is in the Eye of the Beer Holder
This beer catches your eye before you even crack the can and pour it into your glass.
