The Wines!!
Fullerton Five Faces Chardonnay 2017 
Five FACES is an acronym for the Fullerton family – Filip, Alex, Caroline, Eric, and Susanne.
The wines blend fruit from multiple vineyards in Willamette Valley, mainly in the north of the valley with one to the west in the Van Duzer Corridor. A full representation of the Willamette Valley’s soil types is on display with one volcanic vineyard, two loess (windblown) vineyards, and two sedimentary vineyards.
The vineyards range in elevation from 550-700 feet.
Honeydew melon, japanese pear, apricot, honeysuckle, apple-blossom, nutmeg, brioche, and lemon curd. Melon is echoed on the palate with notes of lemon, tangerine, toasted almonds, and fennel. Lovely and integrated acidity balances the palate weight from 17 months on the lees.
 
Fullerton Three Otters Rose 2018 
The story of Fullerton’s rosé originates from the 2012 harvest. Winemaker Alex Fullerton and his father and proprietor Eric Fullerton couldn’t decide on a house style for rosé, so they held a friendly competition. They each made a rosé to see whose would win over a crowd. Though the wines were destined to be bottled separately, Alex got curious and tried blending the two. Voila! The sum was better than the parts, and a tradition was born. Alex now makes one rosé that is whole cluster pressed and tank fermented, yielding a very crisp and light colored wine, while Eric crafts his rosé from a more robust extraction, which yields a darker and fuller-bodied wine. The two lots are then blended to taste, delivering a crisp, fresh rosé with wonderful structure. The juice spent three weeks on the gross lees prior to fermentation to extract aroma precursors, and then six months on lees post-fermentation.
 
Fullerton Three Otters Pinot Noir 2017 
Three otters have rested prominently on the Fullerton family crest since the 13th century. Today, the family craft these wines to honor their Northern European heritage. The Three Otters wines are energetic, playful, and make friends easily at gatherings. They are otterly delicious! 
Bright and energetic with wild strawberry, red cherry, and raspberry coulis followed by sage, white pepper, cinnamon, oolong tea and floral tones. Black cherry, tea, soil, raspberry, and leather follow on palate, with a spiced and vivid finish. Captures the ethereal and seductive allure of Pinot Noir.
 
Fullerton Five Faces Pinot Noir 
The record-breaking heat of the 2015 vintage has produced poised and plush fruit. With thoughtful decision making in the vineyard, specifically regarding canopy management and crop loads, the vineyards balanced physiological ripeness with balanced sugar and acid levels. During harvest, the fruit, including the seeds and skins, tasted great, and the resulting wines show beautifully today, while also holding great promise as they age.  Lovely ruby with aromas of cherry, strawberry, cinnamon, bramble, and brooding humus. Fresh on the palate with nice persistence leading into the soft, noteworthy tannins.
 
Fullerton Lichtenwalter Pinot Noir
On the western slope of the south-facing Ribbon Ridge sits the lovely Lichtenwalter Vineyard. Here Willakenzie soils, derived from ancient sedimentary seabed, coax black fruits and concentrated spices out of the wines. The solid heat of the 2016 vintage has produced poised and plush fruit. With thoughtful decision making in the vineyard, specifically regarding canopy management and crop loads, the vineyards balanced physiological ripeness with balanced sugar and acid levels. During harvest, the fruit, including the seeds and skins, tasted great, and the resulting wines show beautifully today, while also holding great promise as they age.
Aromas of blackcurrant, blueberry, blackberry, and black cherry with concentrated spices followed by hints of sandalwood, smoke and oolong tea. Depth in the mid-palate pairs with balanced acidity, and so, yet structured tannins. The Willamette Valley’s smallest AVA speaks clearly and compellingly through this wine.

Fullerton Bella Vida Pinot Noir 
Bella Vida Vineyard is perched high in the heart of the Dundee Hills. This picturesque site provides elegant fruit from the storied Jory soils of the AVA. 
2016 had the earliest start to the growing season ever on record in the Willamette Valley thanks to a very mild winter and summer-like temperatures in April, May, and early June.
The latter half of June brought a major cool-down, slowing ripening and extending hang-time.
July through early August brought warm days and cool nights perfect for developing flavor, maintaining acidity, and slowly accumulating sugar in the grapes.
In the latter half of August, heat came back pushing the first grapes to ripeness followed by another cool down at the end of August and beginning of September.
After some light rain, harvest picked up quickly in the second week of September and finished by the end of the month.

Overall, 2016 provided vivid flavors, enticing aromatics, smooth tannins, and tremendous balance.
The wine opens with wild strawberry, raspberry, iron-laden minerality, and a touch of caramel.
The palate follows with bright red fruits and ethereal voluptuousness — density and weightlessness.
The finish yields undertones of fresh tilled soil and a lingering note of Earl Grey tea.
A compelling and mesmerizing Pinot Noir from the Dundee Hills.

Relax features fruity, tropical and citrusy hop notes and a round, soft mouthfeel of a hazy IPA.

D9 Head of the Horsemen, IPA, 4 pack $15.99
9.6% ABV, 19 IBU

An almost clear red copper brew with a tight head of off white bubbles. Nose is earthy, malty, a touch of spice and a bit of alcohol.
Taste is a nice earthy pumpkin with a restrained level of pie spices and a slightly hazy orange-amber body with a sizable mixed-density head.

Continuing the tradition of our Black Friday “cocktail” releases, we give you Old Man Hattan, a barrel-aged mashup of two classic drinks: the Old Fashioned & the Manhattan!
The base beer is a blend of Velvet Merkin, Bravo & Stickee Monkee aged in whiskey barrels. The twist comes from select lots of Parabola & Helldorado that were aged in Woodford Reserve barrels previously used to mature cherry bitters, orange bitters & aromatic bitters.
