Australia is burning. More than 24.7 million acres have already burned in one of the most devastating bushfire seasons the country has ever seen.
The impacts on people and nature are devastating. People have died and thousands of homes and buildings have been destroyed. It's been estimated that more than 1 billion animals—including koalas, cockatoos, kangaroos, and wallabies—may have been killed from the fires.

TE AWANGA WILDSONG HAWKS BAY SAUVIGNON BLANC
The highly enjoyable Sauvignon Blanc is filled with nectarine, grapefruit and rock melon characters with an elegant lime zest lift. The palate is generous and flavors with excellent fruit intensity, beautifully structured by juicy acidity. It is long and attractive on the finish.

PADDY BORTHWICK PAPER ROAD PINOT NOIR 2017
Moderately deep ruby-red colour with light purple hues on the rim. The nose is up-front and voluminous with open and accessible aromas of vibrant, primary dark red berry, raspberry and cherry fruit lifted by violet florals, unfolding suggestions of dark-red plums, spices and perfumes. Medium-full bodied, the palate has bright, lively primary raspberry and cherry fruit along with violet floral aromatics, and lifted whole berry fermentation suggestions. The fruit is supported by fine-grained, flowery tannin extraction providing a refined, textural mouthfeel. The acidity is balanced and integrated, allowing the fruit and structure to feature.

POWELL & SON, RIVERSIDE GRENACHE MATARO SHIRAZ 2017
All varieties from the Riverside vineyard are vinified separately, being fermented in concrete vats and pumped over. Post fermentation half of the Grenache component is matured in stainless steel and the Mataro and Shiraz is matured in 4,500 French oak Foudre for 15 months prior to bottling without fining or filtration.

TORBRECK "CUVEE JUVENILES" 2016
60% Grenache, 20% Shiraz, 20% Mataro (Mouvedre)
Its fragrance, intensity and energy are all reminiscent of freshly fermenting must, with ripe juicy flavours of blackberry, spiced cherries, minerals and Asian spices wrapped around a skeleton of fresh acidity and fine mineral laden tannins. Soft and sensuous, this wine is frightfully drinkable already, but as with its predecessors will greatly recompense those who choose to give it a few years in the cellar.

TORBRECK "WOODCUTTER'S" SHIRAZ 2017
Although this wine is constantly praised for being succulent and rich – perhaps the best feature of this wine is its complexity and texture which are rarely found at this price. This wine reflects the up & coming Shiraz vineyards of the Barossa, rather than the battle hardened old warriors which make up the heart and soul of our other cuvee’s. Dense, rich and opulent, this wine combines great fruit purity with texture, complexity and finesse.
