The Fourth of July—also known as Independence Day or July 4th—has been a federal holiday in the United States since 1941, but the tradition of Independence Day celebrations goes back to the 18th century and the American Revolution. On July 2nd, 1776, the Continental Congress voted in favor of independence, and two days later delegates from the 13 colonies adopted the Declaration of Independence, a historic document drafted by Thomas Jefferson. From 1776 to the present day, July 4th has been celebrated as the birth of American independence, with festivities ranging from fireworks, parades and concerts to more casual family gatherings and barbecues. The Fourth of July 2020 is on Saturday, July 4, 2020.

Wines!!

King Estate Sauvignon Blanc $15.99
A glistening pale straw color with enticing aromas of freshly cut white peach, lychee, lemon zest and a core of damp slate.
The palate is crisp and vibrant with ripe guava, stone fruit and honey dew flavors, framed by citrus zest and wet concrete.
This is a rich, mineral-driven wine with juicy acidity and a long finish.

Diatom Bar-M Vineyard Chardonnay  $28.99
This is a pet project of Greg Brewer of Clifton-Brewer Winery that only focuses on Chardonnay.
From one of the coolest climates on the west coast, Sta. Rita Hills enjoys the longest growing season,
making this a veritable paradise for the varietal.
The name diatom is inspired by the fossilized plankton (diatomaceous earth)
which is in the appellation and gives this wine it’s clean, yet lush, profile.
Unoaked, it’s clearly medium bodied and fabulously Chablis-like, austere at first and fattens up on the finish!

Domaine Sorin Rose', Cotes de Provence $15.99
Located on the Mediterranean coast near Bandol.
Domaine Sorin celebrates tradition and innovation crafting superb wine from Provence's finest grapes.
Crisp and refreshing with bright fruit flavors. A blend of 60% Mourvedre, 30% Grenache, the remaining is Cinsault and Syrah .
A classic example of the Provence Rose, the wine is very dry but has flavors of cherry, watermelon, and cranberry.
It's great on its own on a warm day, but has enough depth to pair with foods such as fish and vegetable dishes.

Van Duzer, Smith & Perry Pinot Noir $27.99

Perfectly balanced, fresh and vibrant. French oak influence lends texture and depth.
This balanced Pinot Noir captures the land’s character with bright red fruit and floral aromas
—perfect for toasting adventures past, present and future.

Donati Family Claret $19.99
44% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot, 11% Malbec, 7% Petit Verdot, and 5% Cabernet Franc.
Fruit forward notes of plum and cranberry.
On the palate, Rainer cherry, raspberry and bright acids.
Medium finish, lingering fruit with notes of coffee and mocha.
