SASS "WIND WINDS' PINOT NOIR WILLAMETTE VALLEY UNFI

The nose of the Sass had a noticeable sharpness, a slight minty quality (in a good way), and a subtle sweet anise The flavor of the wine contrasts a vanilla caramel sweetness against a more acidic, somewhat astringent, cranberry, resulting in an interesting tasty wine. In some tastes, the acid and cranberry seemed more prominent, then in the next taste I would get stronger toasted caramel notes. Strawberry and cherry comes through as well.
