MICHAEL SHAPS BOURGOGNE ROUGE PINOT NOIR

Our Pinot Noir is grown at two different sites in the Haute Cote de Beaune.  Both sites provide fresh red fruit notes and moderate structure.  We ferment the Pinot to full dryness on the skins with extended post fermentation maceration. The wine is aged in neutral oak for nine months prior to bottling.  We look to bring out bright red fruits with moderate tannins and to produce an easy approachable wine.
