MIGUEL MERINO RIOJA RESERVA

Balance and harmony are the key of a good Riserva wine. Nothing must be missing, but nothing should outstand: fruit, intensity, structure, persistence and personality must appear in union as a good orchestra. Tempranillo with close to 5% Graciano and Mazuelo, aged for 19 months in 37 barrels made with American oak staves and French oak bottoms.  Deeply colored, with savoury black fruits, some dried herbs deep, savory, meaty dark fruit and black cherry aromas and a very juicy palate of blackberry and black cherry fruit. Rich, and yet perfectly balanced.
