"Paso's take on a Rhone blend, Adelaida's 2013 Version White is a terrific blend of 42% Roussanne, 42% Viognier and 16% Grenache Blanc that spent 10 months on lees in 37% new French oak. It gives up beautiful richness in its white peach, toasted spice, white flowers and brioche-scented bouquet. This gives way to a medium to full-bodied, ripe, textured white that has loads of fruit without ever seeming heavy or cumbersome. Drink it over the coming 2-3 years." 721 cases.

“A tremendously focused blend of 42% Roussanne, 42% Viognier and 16% Grenache Blanc, this offers aromas framed by a steely minerality, as well as peach and a touch of pecan marzipan. It's light on the palate, with nectarine and ripe green apple elements.”
Our Thoughts......
Paso Robles favors warm climate red grapes, however there are a class of white grapes that also have an affinity for these coastal mountains particularly successful are the white Rhone varieties. Anna’s white blend contrasts the crisp and aromatic accents of 3 of these. On the nose apple, orange zest, pineapple-lime, peach blossoms, mid palate emphasizing the soft apple, citrus and tangerine to hints of pineapple and tropical fruits. Food pairing - Thai dishes, anything crab, grilled salmon, tuna, chicken, prosciutto, pork tenderloin and turkey to name a few.
For those of you really organized and thinking ahead this is the perfect Thanksgiving Dinner wine!
