"Pours a ligthly hazy orange amber with a two finger off-white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of grainy malt, apple, light citrus, hints of hay and caramel. Flavor is husky grainy malt, hay, apple, pepper, grassy hops, hint of lemon. Finishes with pepper and grassy hops. Medium bodied with sharp carbonation. The Hallertau hops blend well well with the grainy malt to create a great rustic feel to this farmhouse ale. Nice spicy body with light fruit notes, mosty a hay/dried field plant body, which seems perfect for the style. The Citra hops are not as clear in the flavor with only a light lemony flavor in the background. One of the few hopped versions of this style I've had, and although I think I like the unhopped ones a little better, I think the continental hops seem to fit this quite well. Another interesting, flavorful farmhouse style ale from Blackberry Farm. I'm impressed by this brewery."
