The 2017 Cep Hopkins Rose is true to style emphasizing freshness and lift over weight and texture. The aroma leans towards watermelon water and unripe strawberries with a hint of cream (though it is made in 100% stainless steel). The fruit on the attack adds nectarines, ruby grapefruit, and apricot to flavors of watermelon. The midpalate has a little more roundness than the 2016 Cep Rose though the acidity is quite bright.
