"The 2017 Estate Cabernet Franc was produced with grapes from their Campo de los Andes vineyard in Vista Flores.
It fermented in epoxy-lined concrete vats, and 50% of the wine matured in used barriques for 12 months.
They regrafted some Cabernet Sauvignon vines to Cabernet Franc, and they do a co-fermentation
with a small amount of Malbec, which helps to round up the Cabernet Franc tannins. It has marked varietal character, spicy and peppery, but it's also floral and aromatic.
The palate is medium-bodied, it has fine tannins and very good balance, clean flavors and a long, elegant finish. It's very good for the price asked.
I found the 2017s quite balanced and fresh. 25,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in August 2018."

Our Thoughts on this wine.....

 It's very expressive and open, showy but with restraint.
The palate is juicy featuring black cherry and plum fruit and the tannins are very fine.
Medium bodied the oak is perfectly integrated and folded into the fruit;
the wine is clean and precise with great balance and a dry and serious finish.
Half of the wine is aged in lightly toasted French oak for 12 months the rest stainless steel.
