The Wines!
Kir-Yianni Sparkling Rose' $23.99

A refreshing sparkling wine highlighting the varietal character of indigenous Xinomavro grape variety. An intense mousse and a bright cherry color, pronounced aromas of ripe strawberry and cherry and an elegant acidity adding freshness while pairing harmoniously with the discrete presence of sugars create a wine that is at the same time dynamic and balanced.

Del Feudo Grillo, Masseria White $15.99
88 Vinous Points!
“Sweet baked apple and pears complemented by nuances of autumnal spice waft up from the 2020 Grillo. This is soft and round, offset by brisk acids and minerals, as ripe orchard fruits flesh out across the palate. Hints of sour citrus and inner herbal tones linger as this tapers off with freshness. “  Organic

Xanadu Exmoor Chardonnay $17.99
A lighter Chard with soft ripe peach, and tropical fruit notes fresh on the palate.

Paul Durdilly Beaujollais "Les Grande Coasses" $15.99
When does a non-cru Beaujolais wine taste and age like a fine Burgundy? When it’s crafted by a talented winemaker such as Paul Durdilly from Le Bois d’Oignt in southern Beaujolais.Durdilly’s ‘Les Grandes Coasses’ is hands-down one of the finest “basic” Beaujolais wines you can find for the money; but honestly, there’s little that’s basic about it. Le Bois d’Oignt’s terroir secret is that many of its vineyards have soils that are pure limestone, the same “mother rock” of the Côte d’Or.

Which is why Gamay grown on Durdilly’s older-vine, high-altitude vineyard slopes is always refined and supple, with a complexity of flavor that will make you think Vosne, or even Chambolle—and then make you rethink everything you thought you knew about Beaujolais. - North Berkley Imports
