Rubus French Cuvee' Cremant, Brut $12.99
Elegant pale yellow color with fine bubbles. Floral and fruity on the nose, with aromas of fresh butter and cake.
On the palate, the wine is crisp and harmonious - a delightful sparkling wine.
Lima Vinho Verde $9.99
Part of a special project from the Adega Ponte de Lima, this Vinho Verde is made from 100% Loureiro grapes from the Lima River Valley. The grapes for this version of their wine come only from their schist soil grapes. The schist offers a light but complex aroma of orange blossom and mango. It is full bodied, full flavored, persistent and engaging. For an interesting comparison, also try the Vinho Verde Granite. Side by side, these two wines, produced by the same winery, winemaker, and vinification process, are a fun demonstration of differences in a wine when only the soil is different.
Wolfberger Alsace Edelzwicker, 1L $17.99
Edelzwicker is a reminder of an old tradition of blending noble grapes. Nowadays each grape variety is harvested individually on the most suitable date for each vineyard. Edelzwicker shows a pale yellow color with green highlights. The nose is expressive and offers fruity aromas of pear, white peach, lemon zest and floral notes. The palate is fresh and crisp with citrus flavors.
It is round and easy drinking with a clean finish.
40 % Pinot Blanc, 30% Riesling, 15% Gewurztraminer and 15 % Muscat
Domaine Manoir du Carra "Brouilly" $21.99
Deep red ruby colored wine with red fruit aromas of strawberry, raspberry and floral notes of violet. Ample in the mouth, supple tannins. Parcels in the lieu-dit "Combiaty", within the village of St Etienne la Varenne.
The soils are dry, made of pink granite which gives the wine its tipicity.

?"Aromas of cassis and blueberries here with a spiced blueberry-pastry note, too. The palate has a juicy feel with crunchy, spiced blue fruit and a smooth transition to the gently chewy finish. Drink over the next five years." Winemaker's notes - Deep dark ruby color with crimson reflects, the wine offers on the nose some hints of black fruits, Provencal spices and garrigue. The mouth is ample with a great freshness yet some concentration. Medium finish with hints of red and black fruits.
