He will be tasting out four of his fabulous wines and signing bottles!
Michael’s winemaking philosophy starts in the vineyard.
Truly knowing the land, soil, and climate allows him to showcase the exceptionally pure qualities of the diverse estate at Chalk Hill. He says of his philosophy for winemaking, “Be proactive in the vineyards.
Let the fruit find its balance. Do not force the wine to be anything it’s not. Let it express its typicity.
Once in the winery the wine should be touched as little as possible,
in a perfect vintage, we really shouldn’t have to do anything.”

Chalk Hill Estate Sauvignon Blanc 2021 $23.99
The 2021 Chalk Hill Estate Sauvignon Blanc opens with aromas of lemongrass, grapefruit, and fresh flowers. The palate is vibrant and rich with beautiful notes of tropical fruits, grapefruit,
and a clean minerality on the finish.

Chalk Hill Sonoma Red Blend 2019 $24.99
Hints at the aromas and flavors with its alluring dark red color with purple highlights. Warm cherry pie, molasses and aromatic cloves fill the glass. Hints of vanilla and oak mingle in the background. On the palate, bright cherry, oriental spice and subtle baking spices elegantly express the depth and complexity of the Sonoma Coast AVA. This wine offers a juicy and full bodied mouthfeel that leads into a finish of soft tannins accented by sweet vanilla oak.

Foley Johnson Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 $49.99
The Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon is a wonderful expression of the classic Bordeaux varietal. The nose exhibits aromas of blackberry, raspberry, caramelized sugar, barrel spice and a hint of tobacco leaf. These aromas carry through to the palate, with additional notes of dusty cocoa, vanilla, and dried sage. Firm yet smooth tannins are present on the lingering finish. Blend: 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Petite Sirah, 6% Cabernet Franc, 3% Merlot
