Sicilian origins, grown typically of inland hilly areas, the grapes of the Nero d’Avola express all the Sicilian terroir. Harvested by hand in small boxes, de-stemmed and macerated at a controlled temperature between 24 and 27° C. Aging takes place in stainless steel vats and french oak barrels for 6 months.  Stored one month in bottle before being marketed.

This wine is intense ruby red in colour. It is characterised by an embracing aroma with strong notes of red-berried fruits in perfect harmony with notes of spices and vanilla. It is rich, ample and persistent on the palate with a distinct but pleasant note of freshness, which is typical of this grape variety. It is ideal served with asparagus based dishes, soups and grilled peppers.
