LE PETIT DUCRU SAINT-JULIEN 2019

93 Points, James Suckling!  Blackberry and blueberry aromas with black licorice and dark violets that follow to a medium to full body with ultra fine tannins and a pretty finish. Very fine texture. Drink after 2024.  Winemaker's notes - The 2018 Le Petit Ducru is a wine of balance and harmony. An elixir of youth. A deep garnet color, the nose is fruity followed by red fruit aromas. A generous structure on the palate, a spherical wine, great charm. Very seductive. It will make for a perfect marriage with poultry where it will bow down before its crispy, brown skin and envelop the steaming flesh with its tannins.  Blend: 60% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon
