90 Points Robert Parker - Composed of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Cabernet Franc, 1% Petit Verdot and 5% Malbec, 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Crossroads by Rudd was aged for 22 months in French oak, 46% new. Deep purple-black in color, it comes bounding out of the glass with a sit-up-and-beg nose of crushed black cherries, warm plums and crème de cassis plus touches of chocolate mint, tilled soil and black tea. Medium-bodied, the palate has great freshness and a pleasant hint of chew supporting the taut black fruits, finishing earthy.
