Beautiful salmon rosé color, on the nose filled with dark red berries and cassis, following through on the palate with nice structure. Medium bodied and elegant, although perceptible density in the finish.

The 2023 Rosé Cabernet Sauvignon, from Niederosterreich, is quite flamboyant. The Cabernet character presents itself in spades, lending intriguing layers of graphite, olive, ripe blackberry fruit and a distinct herbaceousness. Juicy, lifted and certainly not shy, I particularly admire the 2023 for its bravado. Mentholated freshness resets the palate on the finish. This is a wine for readers in search of a more exuberant style of Rosé. - Billy Norris
