Winemaker Notes: With beautiful red hues, this wine enters in with lovely and rampant aromatics of maraschino cherry, vanilla candle, light liqueur, and a very pleasant woodsy incense. The palate is undeniably fresh with red fruit flavors filling and bouncing around in the mouth. It’s a runaway wine that begins and ends like a Police song; just a ton of fun! Racy raspberry, cassis and strawberry all nicely combine up front with an after feeling of cavendish and sweet clove. I think this is a wine that can be enjoyed today but will double in 5 years and survive to 15, if stored correctly. -Kurt Venge

Medium ruby, the 2018 Pinot Noir Encroachment has very pretty scents of rose petals, bergamot, pure strawberries and raspberries with notes of graphite and black tea. Medium-bodied, the palate opens slowly to perfumed fruits, gently chalky in texture, fresh and with a delicate finish.
