Every weekend we have free tastings that give you a chance to explore the wide word of wines! 

Each Friday we try to start your weekend off with a sampling of fine wines and beers that will allow you to relax into your "days off" with a positive note. Always a gathering of friends and neighbors and good conversation.

The Wines!!
Domaine de L' Hemoniere Sauvignon Blanc, Touraine, Loire $12.99
Golden yellow colored wine; the nose is clear, intense and complex. Main aromas: citrus fruits (orange, tangerine), exotic fruits (passion fruit, ripe pineapple). Few floral notes (lily of the valley) and pinesap. Wonderfully rich, with good length and freshness.

David Reynaud Les Monestiers Viognier $24.99
This lovely Rhone white is 100% Viognier from 17 year old vines. David Reynaud purchases the grapes from this wine from a family friend with vineyards located in the VDP des collines Rhodaniennes appellation. The wine is manually harvested and is 100% desteemed. The wine is vinified and spends 8 month in in stainless steal tanks before bottling. Certified organic, this wine makes a beautiful pairing with Asian food.

David Reynaud Les Monestiers Syrah $22.99
100% Syrah from 15 year old vines. The vines are planted on a mixture of mixture of limestone and clay soils near the commune of Châteauneuf-sur-Isère just north of the city of Valance in the Rhone Valley. The viticulture practice is certified biodynamic and all the vines are harvested by hand. The grapes are 100% destemmed and the wine is vinified in concrete tanks for aproximately 28-30 days. The wine is then matured for 8 months in concrete tanks before bottling. Around 4 900 bottles are produced each year.

Chateau Cissic Reflets Haut Medoc $23.99
A deep ruby color with a solid high viscosity. This full-bodied wine has loads of black fruit, spicy plum, vanilla, pine wood box and blackcurrant.
On the palate, there is an harmonious black fruit with notes of licorice, black currants, wood and minerality. There is a supple finish certainly has length in the mouth.
Excellent with grilled meats and sausages.

David Reynaud Les Croix Croze Hermitage Vielles Vignes $39.99
Plum/purple color that carries incense, barbecue smoke, roasted meat and blackberry characteristics. The tannins are sweet and a full-bodied, rich mouthfeel.

The Beers!!
Collective Arts Tepache Pineapple Berliner Weisse, 4 pack $16.99
5.0% ABV , 12 IBU
Refreshing and light, this Berliner Weisse incorporates the flavours of the traditional Mexican drink Tepache. Pineapple puree paired with cinnamon and demerara sugar to create a fruity, spicy, lightly tart brew.

Conway’s Irish Ale is Great Lake’s interpretation of an Irish Ale.
A pint for Pa Conway! Our co-owners’ grandfather and policeman who’d likely uphold that an Irish Ale with full-bodied caramel malt flavors is just the ticket.
This is a malty beer with a toasty flavor and slight fruit and hop accents that add to the overall drinking pleasure.
