Domaine Billard Bourgogne Aligote $16.99
Burgundy's "other white grape" shines here in a zesty wine with richness and vibrancy, cut and depth.
Aromas and flavors of crunchy pear, white pepper, orange peel and salty stone sing out in a wine that balances roundness with superb focus and freshness.
The flavors really move around your mouth and hang on through a long, mouthwatering, finish.
Sure, you can drop a shot of cassis in here like you would with most (boring) Aligote.
But it's better still on its own with some shellfish or fresh cheese.

A soft pink in color, the blend opens with a delightful bouquet of small red fruits such as gooseberry, wild strawberry and raspberry, with a hint of citrus.
