89 Points Wine Advocate.  89 Points Wine Spectator. This rich and deeply textured Right Bank Bordeaux was pretty powerful and closed down right after release. Although, as you can see below, even then Robert Parker knew it was a “sleeper of the vintage” value.  Nearly 10 years later, it’s taking on more complexity and developing lovely accents of tobacco, cedar and spice to match the still very ripe and delicious fruit and the firm, but increasingly silky, tannins.  Owner/winemaker Thierry Gaudrie recommends decanting for two hours but it was found delicious from first pop-and-pour. 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon
