This wine shows especially well, offering up a pretty bouquet of raspberries, plums, potpourri, licorice and a stable hint of dark chocolate. On the palate, it’s medium to full-bodied, deep and layered, with a broad-shouldered frame of powdery tannin, ripe acids and a long, sapid finish.
