DANCING CROWS ZINFANDEL

At first sight,  Dancing Crow Zinfandel shows off a dark purplish red robe with a fuschia rim in the glass.  The wine has deliciously juicy aromas of balsamic strawberries, red currant, boysenberry, plum, spice and purple flower. As one might expect with a Zinfandel, the Dancing Crow is nicely bold with full with flavors of black licorice, strawberry and raspberry that come in for a landing with soft tannins and a smooth finish.  Fun to drink by the glass, this is a fresh textured wine that also goes perfectly with Chicago style pan pizza, beef bolognese lasagna, salumi and sharp cheeses.
