SPANN VINEYARDS BETSY'S BACKACHER

34% Syrah, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Petit Verdot, 13% Petite Sirah, 11% Merlot, & 9% Zinfandel  Named after their mountainside vineyard, this was originally made as a special treat for friends and family members who helped during harvest. When word got out how great this tasted at the end of a hard days' work they were inundated with requests for it so we had to make it one of our regular offerings. This serious but fun-loving, drink-me-now house wine is great by itself and also with barbeque, pizza or other richly flavored foods.
