“The 2005 Chateau du Grand Bos offers aromas and flavors blackberry and dried cherries fruit followed by crushed stones and tobacco notes. Balanced and focused with a pretty finish that lingers. 47% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot and 2% Cabernet Franc make up the final blend. (Best 2013-2019) - May, 2013 (JD)

Our Thoughts...............

Aromatics include cedar, cherry, tobacco, and an unmistakably Bordeaux whiff of terroir The mid-palate is in a gentle yet well structured. The tannins are softening but present. There is lovely inner-mouth perfume, and loads of earthy, black fruit and leathery notes. only 200 cases imported.

This is one of the two best Bordeaux vintages

in the last 20 years!
