Bodegas Ontanon Rioja Blanco, Viura $15.99
Viura is characterized by its vibrant and lively expression of the clay and limestone-rich soil in which it is grown.
The Ontanon Vetiver is aged for nearly six months in oak and for an additional six months in bottle prior to release.
The wine displays subtle hints of a lifted floral component as well as a voluptuous mouth-feel, reminiscent of tropical fruit, grapefruit, a touch of white pepper and toast.
It is well balanced, with a fine line of natural acidity and a round, full bodied profile that pairs perfectly with seafood, fish, cream-based pasta sauces and roast chicken.

Delicate citrus and stone fruit aromas, white flower and a hint of orange blossom.
The palate has texture, minerality and balance with stone fruit and citrus characters, crisp acidity and an elegant, lengthy finish. In 1988, a Rioja winemaker found a bunch of white grapes growing amongst the Tempranillo vines in his Murillo de Rio Leza estate in Rioja Baja.
Abelis Lui Toro Selection, Crianza $23.99
Full, dark aromas of varied black fruits set up a rich, chewy palate that's stern but not too hard. Flavors of black fruits and oaky spice are meaty as a whole, while the finish is lush, round and only slightly gripping. This Toro amounts to a great value.
